At House of Rocks, we’re excited to put the “rock” in “Rock Chalk” with our gravel delivery in Lawrence! Did you know that KU’s iconic chant actually refers to the “chalky” limestone native to the area? We deliver this same limestone anywhere in Lawrence or the KC metro!
We can deliver locally within 100 miles of our Kansas City, Kansas yard, but we can also deliver nationwide for large projects! Reach out to us if you have questions about our delivery radius.
We’re happy to help you load your order into your vehicle if you’re not interested in delivery. We can dump bulk product into your pickup or flatbed trailer, or load bagged product into any vehicle.
Let us know if you’re interested in local delivery! We can load up orders up to 14 tons in our dump truck or flatbed truck and delivery almost anywhere within our range.
We’re also excited to offer nationwide delivery for bulk orders of 22 to 24 tons. Give us a call to discuss the nature of your order if you’re interested in a nationwide delivery.
When we arrive at your location, we typically drop your order along the base of your property line. For both bulk dumped orders and palletized loads, we’ll prioritize dropping at the base of your driveway if possible. If a driveway is unavailable, we’ll drop your items onto dirt or grass.
For dumped orders that will go onto grass, we recommend placing a tarp down (not provided) in advance to prepare for your order.
We’re happy to accommodate special drop requests, provided the safety of our driver and equipment is maintained at all time. The driver will have the ultimate discretion on the viability of any delivery request.
For dumped orders, you must be present to direct the driver to your desired dump location. You will also need to sign a liability waiver before we enter your property.
Palletized orders can be dropped elsewhere on your property using our forklift. We charge $175 per hour (min. 30 minutes) to accommodate any special pallet drops. Your drop location must be on flat, dry, level ground in order for our forklift to drop there. We will not move any other items with our forklift beyond your immediate delivery.
We are a materials supplier only and do not perform any installation work. However, we are happy to provide a list of referrals that specialize in working with our rocks if you’re interested in help with installation!
At our store (located off I-35 and Lamar), you can see our full inventory in our rock yard and even set up delivery in advance.
