AB-3 is available in a bulk for quick yard pickup or delivery. Also known as “crush and run” this mixture of angular gravel and limestone fines provides excellent compaction, serving as a highly stable base material for patios, walkways, retaining walls, sheds, and more.
Product Specifications
- Size: 3/4″ down to dust (blended for optimal compaction)
- Texture: Dusty gravel with limestone fines
- Color: Natural gray and tan tones. (Note: as a natural stone product, color may vary slightly by quarry load)
- Coverage: Approximately 100 Square Feet per ton at a 2-inch depth. (Note: AB-3 is typically installed at depths of 4–6″ for structural bases).
- Available Quantities: 50-pound bags (50 Lb.), supersacks, and semi-tractor trailer loads (+/- 23 tons for large commercial projects at discounted rates).

- Structural Base Rock: Compacts tightly to create a firm, level base underneath paver patios, natural stone walkways, retaining walls, and small structures like sheds.
